The mission of the AMPEL Nanofabrication facility is to provide expertise through training, and access to a reliable suite of micro/nano fabrication processes and characterization in a cleanroom enviroment. It is a multi-user fee based service laboratory, serving the UBC and local community in the following areas:
- Microfabrication
- Nanofabrication
- MEMS/NEWMS
- Microfluidics
- Photonic crystals,
- Thin film materials
- Bio-Medical fields.
